Got the blues?

I was a young 14 year old in a record store. I don't know what possessed me. I liked some of the British blues bands that were popular then. This was in the 60s. I bought a record, Brownie McGhee and Sonny Terry at the 2nd Fret. I was hooked. I wanted to play guitar like Brownie. It was the start of a life long obsession with the blues.

Ages ago, one of the elective classes I was taking at Harvard Extension School was titled "History of the Blues in America." It was a great class with excellent discussion, music, and guest speakers and performers. At the end of the class, we were given an option of writing a long paper or recording a few tracks to submit for a grade.

Here are two of my submissions. I could have sworn that I uploaded all three. The second track is played on my Dobro. Both tracks live in the studio, with the slide overdubbed on the first track. I got an A+ in the class, and 4.0 for my semester grade.
