My first one 1971 neck custom ash body 1956 p90 pickups out of a Les Paul Special
I did that in 1986 my slide guitar

Out of all my Tele builds, this is the only one I'm keeping. In this pic it has a short scale conversion neck on it. I never thought it sounded like a true Tele and I believe that the scale length has something to do with that. It currently sits without a neck collecting dust. Eventually I hope to find a genuine Fender Tele neck to put on it, it just hasn't been a priority. This is an old pic, it's a Swamp ash body currently loaded with Fender Pure Vintage '64 pickups.
