Got my very first flu shot today

Update.
No soreness at the injection sight.
But here are the side effects I’m experiencing.

Headache.
Teeth chattering chills.
Fatigue.
Muscle and joint aches and pains.
And lastly, and this is a new one.
My skin hurts. Skin sensitivity is a new one on me.

Did you get Pfizer or Moderna?

I did get the injection site muscle ache thing for several days...
but considered it worthwhile, compared to being potentially seriously sick / not vaccinated.

No flu shot here.
Got it the last few years, but last year it made me very ill.
I'll take my chances.

In the military, we took flu shots regularly. Each time i was vaxxed, i spent three days in a base hospital.

In 2005, they switched from needle injections to nasal spray and i still spent 3-4 days in base hospital with a 104° fever and tremors.

Our flight surgeon advised that some people can contract a sickness from the inoculation designed to prevent it, although this physiology is rare.

Most medicines that many find helpful make me violently ill. However, i seldom get sick. When i do, i recover rapidly.

Thankfully...

Feeling 100% today.
Personally I believe 1 day of misery is better than the potential alternative.
Although if you asked me yesterday I would have probably said otherwise. :giggle:
