Good replacement for a Celestion Ten 30?

I have a Marshall MG micro stack that came with these absolutely awful 10" speakers. At the time I was on a tight budget so, I grabbed a pair of Celestion Ten 30s, not expecting much, but they were a big upgrade from the cheap tin junk the cabs came with. I've had stock 6" car stereo speakers with bigger magnets than these things had...

Now I'm at a point where I'd like to put some better ones in the cabs, so figured there are tons of knowledgeable folks here who could make recommendations.

To answer the question "what are you going for?" my first full stack was a pair of Carvin 412 Bs. One of them had V30s the other had some form of JBL that had more low end response than the V30s. The two cabs mixed very, very well. Now, I have a no name Eminence in my JCA50 and two Mesa/Celestion Black Shadow C90s in my 112 cabs. The Black Shadow seems to sound a lot like the JBL, IIRC.

So, I'd love either: one akin to a V30 and the other like a Black Shadow, or a pair of singles that accomplish the same thing, although that seems unlikely.

I have heard that the 10” greenbacks do well with these amps.
Cheers

@Iron1 - This topic is very subjective. Many favor a speaker because it "colours" their tone. Greenbacks and Vintage 30's are frequently lauded because of their midrange bias. I see this choice made frequently when the amp is lacking in its ability to deliver mids.

Same with speaker 'break up ' which is actually distortion. Celestion even praises this quality, calling it "Celestion's Classic Growl." To my ears, it's simply distortion and it makes any kind of definition on palm-muted passages loose and unfocused.

I would suggest checking out some video demos of 10" speakers and see if you hear something you like....

Thanks Mitch - I'll check into those.
Jensen Mod 10 50 watt $47.00/ Sweetwater
Certainly can't beat that price. Jensen was on my short list before I bought the Ten 30s, so I'll look/listen to those again.
I'd go for a Weber 10F150 with light doping...
Never heard of that - will see what I can find info-wise on them.
A good 10" speaker is the Celestion G10 gold. I have a pair in this 1964 Fender amp just blows away the Jensen's that were stock.

A '64 Fender is probably a long way from a 6505/DLS1/JCA50/Soldano tone, but I'll take a look at those anyway. Thx!

Thanks Robert. I must have watched 2 dozen videos before landing with the Ten 30s. Problem is, there just aren't too many sample videos out there for 10" speakers with high gain stuff. Most of the ones I found the presenter is playing Beatles or some similar clean only sort of stuff, with the occasional SRV excursion into fuzz/low gain distortion. But, the hunt is half the fun.

Thanks Robert! The Falcon sounds intriguing. I wouldn't mind pairing one with the Ten 30 for starters, but it's an 8ohm and the Celestion is 16...

It's available in both impedances...

@Iron1 -Amplified Parts in Tempe Arizona is a Jensen dealer. I've bought several sets of speakers from them. They have the Falcon 10" 8 ohm in stock...

Personally, I like to minimize my expenditure of $$$$ when I am experimenting.
