Adrian, my CV 50's Tele weighs maybe 7.5 lbs as are my 2 AM STD Strats.
My Vintage Mod P and J basses weigh in about 8.5-9 tops. Now true confession, my J77 I have now is a newer one as I sold my original 2012 version. It felt like an anchor at maybe 10 lbs or so. MY Steve Harris P bass is a heavy example, but man is it a killer bass.
I also don't think my EPI LP has weight relief like the Gib LP's did. It might go 8.5lbs +
