Gold epii humbuckers???

YO gang---

I am looking to score a pair of GOLD (preferably used/worn) epiphone humbuckers
57's would be nice but not pickie--- the OLDER the better actually

I am "refurbing" this hunk of Japanese lumber from the 70's....
I LIKE the Dimarzzio and Carvin pups --- however--- not in THIS critter......so trying to take it back to "original-ish" if you know what I mean

I have other plans for the HOT pups --- in some form metal-ish ripper shredder sort of project (stay tuned)

anyway before I wonder over to the ebay and interwebs though I would see if anyone here has a set lying about they dont want or want rid of for cheap---- Ferengi remember--- so Ray--- no need to tell me about the 350.00 set of PRS pups you have -- :) unless they are 15.99 this week only (Black Friday Sale) ???
 
STill kick my self for the P90 Wilshire I passed on for a decent price a year or so ago.

I just gave a way a set of GOLD Suhr Doug Aldrich's because NOBODY wanted GOLD!
 
Im several steps ahead of ya on that robert
Carvin neck (real 80s vintagie) and a Dimarzio bridge (again OLDS CHOOL REAL DEAL)

I can recoup over 1/'2 what I paid for the AXE dropping the pups ;)

---but the Carvin--- calls to me...................................
