The E is in BOM, The EZ is a replacement out of stock at Mouser. I have Texas Instruments chip in cart. The cool thing is I will get a socket so it will pull out with out solder. The original chip from 1990 could have been the magic.

Got a chip very similar to the original ordered from a different vendor .
The BOM list has about 30 items.
I need to print it so I can double check it easier.

It's not available on musikding right now. Usually musikding pedal kits comes with 8 pin IC sockets then you can compare them. Same thing on 3 pin transistors sockets. I built some pedals from musikding. I suspect RC4558 it's low noise than CA3260 but CA3260 it's a bit gainy.

You can find CA3260 on China (Aliexpress).

I got a couple ordered from Newark. I had heard someone say they got them from Alie but had a few bad ones ?

As far I know it's where you can find them. Probably you will buy 5 and 2 will be bad. I buy electronic components in Mouser. I just will use RC4558 on the Quantum kit but I'm really interested for Friedman copy pedals on Aliexpress. I have hear they are better than original ones.

I built It. I tested all parts wile I Install in the PCB board. It was really easy. Even You don't need look at diagram to Install caps and resistors but you need It to Install diode Led(PCBboard don't show diode Led polarity) and transistors. PCB board has holes to Install different pin out transistors. Because this you need look at datasheet transistors.

Also I think it's better Install caps first because 1uF film caps are big. They don't fit properly If you already have had installed resistors on It.

I still have the board and a huge parts list.
Right, I don’t seem to have time with having a certain contest running 24/7 in my head. Lol

I will eventually build one but this thing is done. I had thought about getting the Randy Rhoads MXR tribute pedal but the wonderful internet turned them in to instant collectors pedals. $600 . Horders bought them up, jacked the price with no other intention.

I learned a lesson from the cruse ships they sent me over 2000+ fried guitar amps and payment was net 120 day's after delivery repaired
school of hard knocks first got a wholesale tube supplier the first shipment were all rejects my guess they didn't think I tested them
they cleaned their up act then they couldn't supply the level I needed lucky I had suppliers in Russia and Germany
now many years later I won't touch a PCB tube amp only restore vintage guitar amps now not worth my time.

I have several PCB tube amp boards. Waiting for me to get motivated. I also have turret and point to point builds that are collecting dust.
One is half built. A few sets of transformers and assorted resistors and caps.
