What I really like about my Godin is that I bought it for the versatility of the acoustic / electric and the synth was a bonus. Synth aside, it rocks as well as any of my LPs, sounds a bit thicker, is way lighter and thinner, locking tuners, never falls out, beautiful, well made instrument. Now, add the versatility of that great sounding acoustic piezo PLUS the synth capability? It is fast becoming a favorite!

I haven’t mentioned it yet on here, but I was looking for an Acoustic/Electric a while back and I ended up getting a used Godin A6 Ultra.
It sounds OK as an electric with the neck humbucker but it is dark sounding. There might be a pickup swap in the future.
The piezo acoustic tones are the real star of the show though. It sounds stellar, even through the clean channel of my DSL40. I bought a used 40W Roland keyboard amp and the Godin is amazing through that!
