I currently own it’s twin sister. She is getting some new wiring and a pickup swap, a set of Dragonfire HBs set up for coil splitting.

Mine is getting CTS pots and an Orange Drop cap. It now has a 5 way CRL switch and full copper shielding. The tone pot is a push pull for coil split so Strat-like tones should be possible in addition to the HSH tones.

Hey quick question. How well do the regular Godin whammy systems stay in tune? I am debating another LGX synth with a bar but I am used to FR and Ibanez.

Godin Whammy have the tru loc system, when I used mine stayed in tune no issues. Arm stays firm and true while offering smooth and full mobility, within players comfort zone.

Thanks! The LGX doesnt say it is the tru loc system but the others do. Hmmm.
Dude doesnt push it too hard in the video. If my local dealer had one I would rry it. I can always order one in amd see.

5 years ago I picked up my Godin Session for $499, it now sells for $699CDN, this guitar plays and is built as good as an American made Strat, like the guy says in the video. Seeing the Fender Strat is priced at $2,000 the Godin $699 a $1,300 difference just because the name on the headstock. I am the fortunate winner on this deal. This Blackburst is a Gem and sounds great wouldn't change a thing.

A whole bunch of em. I also have a push pull, but can't even remember what it does.
I think it's a sicko series switch.
Also has the Duncan triple shots.
The pickup selections with 10 coils are endless.
My trem is floating with 2 springs and a set of .009's.
Tuning is spot on.
It truly is a fine guitar, not just good.

So are either of these a Tru Loc? Or just regular? Be nice to seee what a regular one does under some heavy wanking.
