Godin ---how its done

BTW...here's an actual picture of my Godin Belmont guitar which I've been practically playing everyday since I got quite a while back now. The Seymour Duncan pick ups sounds fantastic in this guitar and the feel of the neck is very natural and easy to play on. I love the semi-arched top and the bevellings on the horns of the guitar. It really has that vintage vibe to it.

SWEET guitar BLACKIE!!

So Canada sends their nice guitar parts south of the border to be assembled. Hmmm, Fender does that too.
Apparently some of the Godins are assembled just south of the border in northern New Hampshire (Berlin, NH), not very far from the Godin factory in the Eastern townships of Quebec, Canada (La Patrie, QC).
This particular model is one of those. The High Gloss model with a rosewood fretboard that I also considered was made solely in Canada and the headstock indicated that by only saying "Hand-crafted in Canada".

Mine of course says "Made In Canada" and now the newer guitars are called the Richmond Belmont but still under the Godin name. It's the Richmond series which include the Belmont and Dorchester guitars made in Richmond Quebec which is their latest factory that they've purchased.

Does anyone know if/where I could get a black pickguard to replace the white one on my Session, without making it myself?
The Godin site does not list it as an option in the Accessories and any other aftermarket makers do not have the Session model as an option.

Here's another beautiful guitar in the Godin line of the Richmond series called the Empire. It's a single cutaway Les Paul type of guitar with Godin's own pick ups that is equipped in the guitar. It sure looks nice and sounds sweet.

Yes Blackie the Empire is a nice edition to the Godin lineup, and there again a lot of value for the buck. I have played one and are a great player! Thanks for sharing!

Anyone who does not have at least one Godin guitar in their lineup is missing out on some of the best built and playing guitars that are made.
