No -- I didnt buy one-- but in my travels todfay I did stumbl;e across one I had NEVER head of -- and if I win the lottery I will get one--like right after I call my ex employer that recently laid me off and tell him to "suck it!"---

Godin TRIPLE PLAY (has a Piazo) all SORTS of battery powered techno wizardry -- and quality craftsmanship--woods and tone--- the thing came alive with the frist strum -- what a LOVELY beastie---

but at 900.00 asking preice (used---VERY USED) at a pawn shop--- uhm--- no ----

but i can say it was top notch -- stellar build -- workmanship-- quality -- it is ON PAR with anything from GIBBO OR FENDER USA --period

AND look a TELECASTER with a TREM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I’ve owned two. An older LG and the A12. Both are really nice guitars. The only reason I sold the LG is because I wanted a Les Paul. Since then I’ve gone through a dozen Les Pauls only one of which was as nice as the LG. I’m waiting for a used one of these to come up locally for a decent price.

eSGEe I have played a Triple play, they are a Sweet guitar like you say. If I decide to purchase another guitar this one would be on my radar. The problem is there are so many real good playing Godins its hard to decide which one to choose. If I ever won a large lottery I would buy a bigger house and buy every Godin guitar made.

Now that's a great looking guitar in a great colour!:) I like the maple neck and 22 frets and the wang bar. I think David Gilmour would like this beauty axe. I also like the pick up configuration (S-H) which seems to be the most popular config on a Tele type guitar.

Godin makes a great piezo pickup with an active preamp. My A12 has one. It is by far the most natural sounding piezo system I’ve used. I played at an open mic last night with a crappy regular guitar amp that they supplied. Everyone else’s guitar sounded horrible through it. My Godin was by far the best sounding guitar through that piece of crap.
 
Well I've got a story to tell you all. I went to the same pawn shop today where I got my Godin Belmont guitar for a quick browse. And guess what? I saw another electric solid body Godin guitar in black with an EBONY fret board. Holy moly...this guitar is smoking! It is a Godin LGX model guitar with 3 control knobs, a 5-way selector switch and 2 extra smaller switches where one was a 3-way and I think the other toggle switch was like a kill-switch. It also has an EQ sliders and 2 Seymour Ducan humbuckers. This guitar felt amazing with it's neck profile and the beautiful ebony FB which looked simply gorgeous! The guitar is a real player and I think I would have wanted to buy this beast right away. The only problem is that it's $900 plus tax used so I would be looking at about $1,000 and I'm on a tight budget these days. Besides I already have 21 guitars which is a bit to much and I'm trying to thin out the herd. This guitar is simply a winner and I would recommend you guys and gals to check out this model for sure. A great guitar for the money I'd say.:)

BTW...the one I saw was a hard-tail or string thru the body with somewhat of an ABR-1 bridge. The pick ups had chrome or nickle covers on them with the Seymour Duncan logo on them. I hope I win the lottery soon because I would snag this up in a heart-beat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
