Girls on Longboards!

I went from clip on roller skates on my shoes to my first Penny type board with Urethane wheels with loose ball bearings and trucks that had a spring on the kingpin instead of rubber bushings. I think it was about 1975 for me when I was around 11 years old.

I started out with clip on roller skates as well. I was 15 in 1975 though and had a decent board with Urethane wheels.

Never tried surfing, im sure i would drown in a tangled mess of leash and waves. But i do Body Board and aint half bad at it. First half a dozen times, i just got crushed by massive waves and ran my board into the ocean floor, got up and was pouring blood from my nipples from the sand cutting me open. Meanwhile, 8 year olds beside me were laughing as they rode by like it was nothing lmao

I actually learned how to ride waves on them and can do a few cut tricks
