This video is exactly how my 2016 Les Paul 50's Tribute was after I dropped the action down, from the .100" where Gibson set it, to make up for the uneven frets...So disappointing!!!!

The oil treatment was done much later. Those are out of the case photos....

Hopefully, Gibson Serial Number(s) 160119204, 160112913 and 03023435 won't resurface anytime soon in a location near you...
Not in the market, but I'm sure a GC will put it up as "new" again for the next victim.

Indeed. I learned it long ago with Mesa tubes. They sold me a "new" pack of Mesa 6L6 tubes...that obviously weren't new(the bases were broken, and cracked...and the center pin was missing from one...not visible in the packaging). When I returned them, I went wandering around for a bit...I watched the guy put the pack back in stock.
The 2016 Les Paul 50's Tribute (160119204) was purchased through Gibson's Artist Relations Program from the Gibson store in Beverly Hills. It was returned to them to be sent to Gibson in Nashville, according to my rep.

Say --- does anyone have Bob Dylans email? HE should see this video --- might be pissed something with his name on it had such issues......or perhaps as long as he got his 2500 royalty payment off it he dont give 2
s .........who knows.
Makes you wonder if they are "skimping" on the HIGH DOLLAR signature models to have the profit room to "kick back" the royalties to the artist eh?
I mean I had one of these that was AWESOME --- i just cant "get into" acoustics----
