Gibson SG Special T On Sale...$515 Regular $739...

Somebody better buy one of these!

I'm tempted to cancel the Strat...but I already have 3 SG's and no Strats...

Pretty sure those are Mini-humbuckers. The Col. swears by 'em, but he might swear a lot. I seem to swear more at the most mundane things, like those plastic bags that wont open at the meat counter and folks who can't figure out that green means go and tear-offs that aren't perforated, insuring that the seal tight lid won't. But enough of that. Please, someone, before I find the spot my kids buried my credit card...............................
 
You guys just aren't jumping while the irons hot...mine will be delivered on Thursday...I made the wife pay for it since she stole my Guild Acoustic...easy enough to flip at that price...

I'm a die hard PAF guy....and they must have covers and be in the 7-8k ohm rnage....
 
Something's funny, here.

The picture definitely shows Gibson's newer style mini-humbuckers. But, if you scroll down to the description of the pickups and electronics, the ad says they are 490R and 490T. These are full-size humbuckers.

It looks like something is amiss with the Amazon ad.

You can get covered 490R and 490T pickups, as well as the uncovered variety.

But, who knows what's in that guitar on Amazon!
 
If I was in the position I would grab that in a heartbeat; those mini hum routes will take P90s, and if it is HB, well I have an empty space that says "reserved for Gibson", sooooo,
The space will most likely remain empty for the foreseeable future.

Good choice of colour!;) My Gibson SG Special is a real player and comes with an ebony fret board. See if you can find one of the early SG Specials. You might get a good deal or something.
