Gibson Neck Angles:

I have Gibson CS and PRS. If I have thrown some mud Gibson's way, it is on a macro level. They seem to have targeted marketing over letting quality speak for itself the past 8 years or so. That said, my Gibsons are every bit as good as my PRS and Tom Andersons. The only beef I have had with any Gibson I have owned is having to route the cavity of my R6 to make the pups adjustable, but I blame that on the "historic" requirements of the offering. The only other thing I have said is that I have been able to get my Agile's pretty darn close in sound and playability, but some may disagree with that, especially those with superior skill or those with more need for precision, like stage performers. I LOVE all my Gibsons. I would never pay today's prices for a CS, but that is true of any brand.

Baam-Oh! Nailed it bubby.

There simply is a difference between owning a guitar company because you love guitars & want to make the nest guitars you can & owning a guitar company as an investment to make money!
Different drives, different priorities, different results.
You just can't tell me those attitudes aren't felt & further reflected. Much like the idea of Kharma or thinking, saying & doing positive things has a way of affecting your life & those around you.
