Gibson Les Paul Supreme

Ladies and Gents,

Saw this for sale in my general area. To you Gibson experts, does this look legit to you?

There might be something wrong with that, it might not be real.
The location of tone control looks wrong to me.
The serial number looks wrong, it's stamped in a funny way...
The horn on the body looks wrong to me.
The binding doesn't look right for some reason.
Also if it was a LP supreme, it would be worth 5X more money I think maybe. The price is too low to be real.
Who would put a locking nut on a LP? With no wammy bar? This isn't right either.
But I could be completely wrong.

The ad says it's an Earvana nut, not a locker but I am unfamiliar with these.

The price seems to be in the right ballpark according to Reverb and the fact this this was a Gibson USA model and not a Custom Shop.

Agree!
If the Supreme is in very good condition, $2900 is reasonable. I'm no expert, but the guitar looks legit.

If you could get the full serial number, that would answer all the questions. Could do a quick check and confirm everything
