Gibson Double Slug Pickups???

@gball - I know you have always liked Gibson pickups. These say 'Gibson USA' but that doesn't seem to mean what it used to mean in this modern era.

What's your opinion on these DSC's???

Actually I have never used them, but the specs tell me they are basically ceramic-magnet versions of a '57 Classic (minus the pole screws of course) and I would think they'd probably make a really good hard rock pickup.

Speaking of hot slugs...
Apophallation has been reported only in some species of banana slug (Ariolimax) and one species of Deroceras. In the banana slugs, the winkie sometimes becomes trapped inside the body of the partner. Apophallation allows the slugs to separate themselves by one or both of the slugs chewing off the other's or its own winkie. Once the winkie has been discarded, banana slugs are still able to mate using only the female parts of the reproductive system.

You lost me there... Which is the winkie and which is the banana?
