Somehow I saw the first 2 minutes of this b4 tonight.

So much for the 55 point inspection...

Although someone could put some of the blame on Sweetwater, the major and ultimate blame should be put on Gibson. Its obvious their quality control is outrageous . That guitar should have never left the Gibson plant period. What gets me is even the guy in the video says Gibson is not all to blame ( Really? ) So i guess Gibson just sends this out to their dealers and say's they can look after it. Sooner or later this kind of neglect is going to catch up to Gibson, and come back to bitem where it hurts. Eventually people will wisen up to this shotty workmanship and take a stand , of couse it has already started, I have seen videos of Gibson fans who say they will never buy another one. Can you understand why when you see this, if it doesn't give you reason to reflect on what is really going on at Gibson, well i guess nothing will. All the excuses some people give to protect Gibson's sub par work won't help the company going forward, Only the customers that will hold them accountable, for producing such acts of neglegence.

Oh come on now y'all!!! The guitar costs $6700. If you want, or need, those six screws to secure the tuners, then you'll have to pay $7000... or $50 per screw! Genius... 
! Plus, omitting those six heavy screws counteracts the notorious SG neck-dive! More genius... !!

What I wish the video talked about was if the purchaser had notified Sweetwater of the issue and what Sweetwater’s response was.

Yeah, that would have been interesting. I like Sweetwater in general and do buy gear from them, but I hated what they did with the setup/checklist thing when I bought a guitar there. The setup was super-weird and they put on crappy strings and there were palm and fingerprints all over it.

Human error can and will occur and if an inspector doesn't take his or her job seriously, then there's an even greater likelihood of trouble.
If you look back at my posts about my (5) new Gibson purchases between 2016 and 2018, the weird "Fretboard Hump" described in the OP video was present in all but (2) of my (5) Gibson's and in almost the exact same place as depicted in the video.
In fact, one of them - a 2016 Les Paul 50's Tribute Gold Top from Sweetwater - arrived with 12th fret free action at 0.145" to try and compensate.

You might be on to something there Don. I’ve seen video of Entwhistle playing with the tuners while playing…… all in the interest of a “sound.”Heck, I think it’s a new trem system for individual strings, just reach up and grab the tuner head and pull a string sharp ! No more of that behind the nut trick, that’s so 1970s
I'm pretty nitpicky about details. I do not see major FUBAR's like this with Fender products, but some small issues, like sharp fret ends, or nut slot depth issues do surface and it's my job to remedy them.
I'm really picky about intonation, but I discovered that on brand new guitars, the intonation is generally spot-on with no need to "temper" or "average" the values between the 12th and 3rd frets. Set it at the 12th and it's dead on the money everywhere.
We recently QC'd some Squire Classic Vibe 50's Stratocasters made in Indonesia and they are some of the best overall quality that I've seen on guitars costing 2 times as much.
