Getting My MoJo Back

For the past year I have been working a lot, not just a lot, but A LOT!

Between working my full time 40 hr a week day job, every other week 24 hr emergency support, my own web design business and keeping our cars running... I have had little to no time to play guitar. I received a cool Orange micro terror and speaker as gift a while back. I played it for a few hours with different guitars over a few days, but then stagnated in my playing time. Before receiving that present it had been a while since I played. I last picked up one of my guitars a couple of weeks ago and got bummed when I realized how my playing ability had decreased. I have noticed that one thing that gets my interest back into playing is getting a new toy (gear) and it drives me to pick up a guitar again.

Mrs. Wav never knows what to get me for Christmas so I end up buying my own Christmas present. This year I just bought this and it is in the mail. I'm hoping this will wake up my MoJo and get me playing with my toys again.

Hey Wav.. nice to meet ya bud..I can relate with guitar skills decreasing when you dont play..i have the same problem..it actually was happening just before my new gear purchase and I said, if this dont get me back into it, nothing will..ha,ha..but im glad you got a new toy coming..you'll be back on top in no time..thanks for sharing and again, nice to meet you Wav..

and sorry about all the work..take a break..ha,ha.

Work is one of those love/hate things. When I have a job to go to, I hate having to get up at 5 am, drive an hour to get to work, drive 1.5 hours to get home at night. However I love to have money to pay bills (I hate bills too), buy gear, buy presents and not to mention have a roof over my head.

You deserve the pedal Wav, you proved to be a hard worker with this forum aside from your full time job. I'm glad you are getting your mojo back and take some well needed "my time".

I hear ya Wav..We gotta work....and the payoff is, that after everything is taken care of, we can sometimes treat ourselves to some fine instruments, gear, ect..gotta love it..

Drink some of this while doing the oil change ;)

Well, sadly to report, this did not help me find any mojo. It sounded much better in the video than in my hands. Surprise surprise. I was hoping to get a very wide variety of tones from this pedal, but for me it was a 1 trick pony. It is packed up and going back. I spent a few more bucks and bought something else to lure my mojo back to me. She's brown, she's curvy, she's on her way to me now.
