Lynyrd Skynyrd Reports Gary Rossington Has Died At 71

Lynyrd Skynyrd has recently reported that Garry Rossington died at age 71. The band shared a social media statement to inform its fans.

Well that's it: no original members left. That absolutely sucks.....guess Skynyrd is officially over now too. The very first show I ever saw when I was 13 was Skynyrd and god knows we covered a ton of their songs in the band. RIP Gary

Got to see them this fall in the "Boots on the Sand" concert that they played for free to raise money for the victims of hurricane Ian, here in Estero, Florida. They played a full set. Was a very good concert indeed.

I literally just heard the news. I am so glad I got to see them play (pre-C Word) here in Toronto as part of a one day festival type show. Skynard was the headliner but the show also featured .38 Special and ZZ-Top. It was a great afternoon/evening.
