I'm unashamedly a Patriots fan, so I'm used to hearing controversies get lobbed my way lol but the crap over this year's Conference Championship games was about the most egregious display of both incompetence from the officiating crews and couldn't help but reek of a bit of conspiracy

Yep! I was coming to say the same damn thing. I swear to God the league bows to Mahomes on anything. It's pretty infuriating to say the least. Guy had his hand on a dudes back and they called holding because KC wasn't gonna be able to milk out the clock with that incompletion

Every few years, the league desperately tries to create a new face and icon and will do anything to swing things in their favor. Right now it's Mahomes and they don't even mask it at this point. Whether or not if the person is as great as they'd have you believe, the league will shift for them. Peyton Manning was this even when he couldn't win in the post season, so was Dan Marino who couldn't win a Superbowl. Before that? John Elway who was an epic choke artist until his last two Superbowls
