...I know these may seem hokey to some of you and the price is ridiculous, but I really dig this Stratocaster! They are all Master Built and direct order from Fender only. No dealer stock and at $35K MAP I can see why. I wonder how many they will sell?

I don’t watch Game of Thrones, and I have no desire to do so.

But, I do sort of like the looks of this.

Needs a floyd --- and even then --- still ---no--

That thing screams "burn it with dragon breath" even before you take a look at the tariff. That is a serious mountain of wampum for a collector guitar that will never get played.

You're not a Strat guy from the get go...I never thought you'd like it at any price...

True enough, but I am not totally against another Strat. I've owned many over the years and at one time my gigging guitars were two G&L Legacy's, not a humbucker in sight.

They used Nitro on THAT???!

Maybe rock is indeed dead and I hadn't noticed yet. A respectable and admired guitar company going totally ridiculous like that, and to get whose attention? Pimple faced chubby nerds' and Geeks'? These people don't buy guitars, they buy videogames and TV show fan stuff.

As much as many of us guitar players who would pay for na American made guitar do like TV shows and such, I don't think one of us would ever buy such a ridiculous piece of junk.

I can’t imagine how much spare cash I’d have to have before I ever spent that much on one guitar. I buy guitars to play them. I’m freaked out when I take my $2500 Larrivee to a jam. I think I’d be afraid to open the case with a 35k guitar. What use is a guitar you can’t play?

This gives me an idea....

I've been contemplating a Strat project.

Maybe...I should build a blacked-out Strat with a bronze or copper pickguard.

Whoah...!

Bacon...

I just fried my own mind!

I've often thought about a completely Blacked out Strat! BUILD IT!
