G&L S500 USA

Not my shirt...not my ceiling fan...and all the credit for the inovative pick guard will have to go to the seller...

I don't even have the beastie in my hands yet...

So, you're not leading the avant-garde promoting the rock and roll image of ceiling fans?

Soooo...the million dollar question is how does it sound?

No, my good friend, that is not the question. At least, it's not the million dollar question. Maybe, it's the sixty-four thousand dollar question.

The million dollar question is whether or not ceiling fans will become the next trend in rock and roll.

I could totally see Alice Cooper doing crazy stunts with ceiling fans on stage!

...Well Gball has inspired me to add this G&L USA ASAT Classic Bluesboy to the S500 for a set...I don't have it yet either, but the price would not allow me to walk away...

Now and then G and L with Peavey T series are gone but what we have now is to be counted. I really never played a real G and L Fender copy. I have been busy being amazed by the real deal.
I did catch and like the Peavey copy. Now both a junk Chinese copies just the same as the ill legal Les Paul. No original ideas only copies that need work to make them playable. Pots, pickups, wiring and stuff found along the way. I did the Chinese conversion and you get a good guitar. Never a great one. They will never have that kick or snap back a great one has. How, I wish I knew. Take a chance on a great one and pay the bucks. You will know in time. My Studio is a $1,400 pig and my Standard is the great one. I just found out last weekend. I had both near 3 years.

Wrong neck pup, a taste of Les Paul coasting in neutral.

My Chibson guitars that I have worked on are playable a suficiently fun for the price. But I'm learning they just are not up to
snuff to be truly great.

I do however love the recent MIM Telecaster I upgraded with Greg Koch Gristle Tone Pickups and my $300 Strat with the EMG
David Gilmour loaded pickguard in it!

We'll see if these G&L's are keepers by this weekend I hope...If not the price was right on both to move them without a loss.

That's because the algorithm got ya!

All together now... a one, and a two, and a one, two, three, four...

(Ya'll knew this was gonna happen!)

"The algorithm's gonna getcha,

The algorithm's gonna getcha,

The algorithm's gonna get you....

The algorithm's gonna get you....

...Tonight!"

At a certain age you know exactly what guitar is playing on those albums you would buy again. Clampton's Strat, Mike Bloomfield's Telecaster and Gilmore's black Strat. That is the tone I need and a bit twisted. Les Paul's by countless people. That is the way they are, I not going to put a single coil on my Les Paul. I bought a cool new Telecaster Custom. Four knobs and two humbuckers.
I dug it but it was no Tele, it was just an inexpensive Les Paul that looked like Hell. poop I grew up with that wet stinker.
