From the Frozen Tundra

HAHA Ray, I guess that's what I get for reading the thread from the last post backwards on only the 2nd page and actually working outside in the actual frozen Md Tundra all week.

I would like to follow up with this......

I LOVE THIS GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also dig Peavey amps and guits. I have a JF-1 ( ES335 knockoff). If any of you cats and kittens ( meow!) are interested, I could Imgur a few snaps for ya'll! Those PRS guits are pretty nice. I've only tried two out and both left an excellent impression on this old boy.

Thanks Cat--- you cant go wrong with good solid USA made Peavey gear --
But now and again you just gotta go a different route lol

i'm curious about the neck profile, the 22 and the 24 have wide/fat & wide/thin necks respectively. Do they mean wide/thin like on the VooDoo Queen, or ? The neck on mine is fairly hefty feeling, but plays fast enough.
How do you like the stock pickups?

It is to me very comfortable...I would say thin c and wide--- though NOT as wide as a Les Paul 100 Jr. or any 2015 with the ZERO NUT--and not as thin as a Jackson or a Peavey T- series (VERY VERY THIN) it is a nice easy playing familiar feeling axe. IT does blues and jazz very well...and as I discovered last night --- you can pour the METAL through it as well those pups can SCREAM and it gets as raucous as any of the Shredders I own.

The coil split and fiddling with the knobs can get a "stratish" woman tone (close not exact) and the buckers can sustain like a lester and power chord like a Jackson .........it is aside from my T-60 (which can very well mimic other guitars) the most well rounded guitar I have

it would easily "gig" and move from Clapton to Motley Crue very effortlessly

I am VERY happy with it----- I knew as I have played many I would like it --- but this one in particular really floats my boat
