FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

This song is personal, I lost a very good old friend 2 days ago. I am going to give it a more critical listen and finish the 2nd half before doing a master and getting the volume up.

This song is where I start in his Memory. Somehow it sounds a little like in my darkest hour and I can feel what Dave felt when Cliff passed.
My Good friend Danny Feeley. R.I.P. brother.

I could barely hear it , but the work put in so far sounded good to me.
Yes it is thanks Mitch. I was trying to not have it clip (to loud) in the D.A.W.
Some things are weird using the HX Stomp.
It has its own volume / amp floor so that volume is probably why I have the whole mix turned down.

I might need to mix down to stems and master it with my UA 476.
Stupid thing is, all of my good mixing plugins are on my other computer. I am so sick of passwords and loading software, upgrades, installs, drum plugins. It can be overwhelming and distracting from creating songs.
Bottom line is I’m behind the curve.

Not much going on these days, I thought it’s time to break out the DSL Les Paul, impromptu generic riff. I am just floored how much I like the DSL CR in to the Peavey / Greenback cab.
All of your last clips have a cool groove and great tone.
Thanks for sharing James
