Way back in 8th grade circa 1978, my friend, Vic Hamilton threw Nugent gas onto my Deep Purple, Beatles, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Led Zep fire. He lent me his Double Live Gonzo album which led me to add Weekend Warriors and Free For All as my first 2 Nuge albums. I wore them out and lived as much Gonzo fun in my school days as possible.

The next chapters would be Rush, Sabbath, Leppard, Stones, Steppenwolf, Aerosmith, BOC, Foghat, Cream and beyond.
 
Wow, I’m a little older. I had Led Zepplin 2 when I was 10. Still one of my favorite albums ever. Back in the early days James Gang, Deep Purple,TRex,SteppinWolf even Alice Cooper. I got Billion Dollar Babies when it was released.

Speaking of old enough. Was buying Steppenwolf while still in HS. My first Alice album was Love It To Death…. As a new release. Pretty much same for the first four Sabbath albums.

But to keep it real. Also bought Blood Sweat and Tears and Tommy James and the Shondells. I’ve always had a pretty eclectic taste in music. :wink:
 
Yep still got tge bus.we moved into a apartment.to cold up here to live in the bus even with a good wood stove.Its parked on a lot about 2 blocks from where our apartment is.They guy that owns the RV park we stayed at has a chunk of property near our apartment. Yes i remeber sellin you the pickups.heres a recent photo this year of me checkin on the bus.i start it up from time to time.we use it for camping now.Screenshot_20250111_075843_Gallery.jpg

I was asking about the pups cuz I had forgotten if it was a 498 or 500 T. I thnk the Fralin was called a Pure PAF if I remember right.
I suppose I could get up off my butt and go look in my tool box where I put them. HAHA
