FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

WHAT THE HELL have I been doing, MIITCH?
At least once a month out in my garage, would do it so I can’t lazily get out of it my brother.
No feedback, and that has always been the push I have needed.

From your end Mark you have been doing all you can , but I have no one that is pushing my progress.

Then I have my grandson out in the garage still butchering the same old thing for the last 10 years, of songs I don’t care for.
And not playing them much better than when he first started learning them.

Bdon, I was noodling tonight too. 1st my V and '79 LP, then my Cream '76 SG and V.

I know you don't have to guess which 2 guitars sounded the most Iommi like.
The T Top and Tarback equipped guitars give me the fullest doomy Sabbath type tone with the same amp settings, while the V needs a little more volume in the amp to sound as powerful. I bet the V would shine through a different gainier Tube amp vs my SS Princeton Chorus.

I get it with the T-top, and Tarback…they hit a sweet spot for this stuff. The hotter pups require a bit of fiddling sometimes.
Thanks Mark!!!

ibmor, I like it!!!

At first I heard a touch of Iommi in it, then I got f a rther along and was definitely hearing tones of Ted. HAHA the site censor would not let me type the word " F A R THE R" because it flagged F A R T.

Your jam especially reminds me of this tune.
VENOM SOUP

That’s a different tune for Ted, I’m surprised I never heard it until now. However in 78 I was following the NWoBHM.
Ted was always a wild musician especially live.
