FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

I had the hard tail in the Brazilia burst.... That thing was butter!
Amazing guitars!
I love that guitar.

I worked with Aaron at Warmoth to basically clone the neck of that Dean ML ATF3000 for my Warmoth Strat.

As best I could find researching the specs online; those necks are straight 12" radius, and a thin "C" profile. And the frets are 6150 - Wide & Tall (Nickel).

First crack with the Zoom q8. Audio is real nice. Capturing from where i stand in the room 8-10' back. Now time to work on lighting in the room. Going to be a great tool to capture quickly ideas as they come up
That sounds damn good, but if you step in front of the cab it will change the tones, that’s what I found out trying to record the Origins , all at distances .

Kinda searched for that beam off the 4x12 that blasts ya in the head & got the mic right there lol

This camera also has 2 xlr & was checking out the editing & looks like might be able to close mic & use the camera mics.

That’s a cool feature, I still have not been able to duplicate a good spot for the Origin.

This sounds pretty darned good! Good luck with the lighting…I chose a cheap-azz ring light from Amazon. Works for pictures for my taste…but others around here know way better than I about these things.

Agree, that sounds great. I've never been able to use a mic that far away myself, too much room echo at the volumes I use I think.
Sounds really good bro!
