Yes this is the faded V. I put a Distortion TB6 in it and it is amazing, I pick it up more than any of my other guitars, is super comfortable, sounds as good or better than all of my others. I would sell my custom Dean before I'd sell this one off.
My Dean is amazing too... Sometimes it's a very close contest between them. I mean they're so similar. Gibson has smaller frets and more ...I dunno... "Organic" feel to it? I think it's my go to guitar for all things "not drop tuned brutal"

I sometimes use a YouTube heavy metal drum tracks , if I find myself doing something that sounds decent. I shut it off an try to capture what I was doing an record it.
Because the only device I have is my phone.

I was able to tame the excessive symbol crash, toned the drum down less snare beats and put some guitar back in but I think I'm done.

I am getting GFR feel to it now, and in the middle I got a SWOD guitar tone that I thought was damn cool.

Sometimes I think I make cool riffs and sometimes I'm happy to make make mediocre riffs and well, tonight I'm treating you to the trainwreck....
I gave this riff about 3 tries and then just set the guitar down and came inside.....
I could blame it on the brain fog for the last week, and lack of playing while I've been down, or I can claim I just stink in general ha ha!

Either way, here's the " idea" for a riff that I sure couldn't pull off tonight.


Ha ha it just gets worse and worse until I just quit on it. I found it amusing anyhow.
