Does this sound super scratchy to anyone else? Trying to figure out if I got a bad cable somewhere or it's just my phone ha ha.

Yep…something is amiss…bad cable? IDK….maybe clipping the interface?

I think the last few I've done have some sort of yes clipping issue....I'll swap mics and cables for the next one and see if I can pin it down.
At first I thought it may be a blown speaker, but I can't hear it in the room.

That speaks to clipping the analog to digital conversion(which is what I think I’m hearing)…perhaps kick the preamp gain back a smidge(not to be too technical )?

I did that very thing tonight, I dropped it back to 1 mic and just barely turning green on the interface. Didn't seem to fix the problem. I can also grab my other Focusrite and make sure it isn't the unit.

Edit: I swapped mics and Focusrite as well. Also I think there may be a torn speaker fizzing/flapping.
I'll inspect it more tomorrow when I get home from work. I did get it to simmer down quite a bit by swapping interfaces.... the one may be clipping more than the green/orange indicator light may be showing . I think it's a combination of a few little problems. Thanks for the input buddy!

I can hear it Steve, but it sort of blends into the high end gain, so I can see how other's might not/different speakers might not replicate it. Killer riffs regardless.
