My wife said she is getting something special for my birthday ... Please let it be a V, black with white pick guard ... P90s .... Yeah, I know its not happening, but its nice to dream.

It is great to dream because it means you are getting good sleep.
As for the V I see you with one before the next year is over.
I finally got mine 3 years ago, and I had wanted one since 78.

Last night I celebrated a bit too much. On 9/24 I was let go by my employer. I pack up all my gear because I know if I left it out, I'd play more than I should. Yesterday afternoon I was hired by another company! I start tomorrow.
Which leads me to this ...
I just checked my phone this morning and noticed a 15 minute video of me recording myself last night, which I don't remember. Apparently I unpacked everything and started playing.
The recording is a good teaching tool. It taught me to NEVER E V E R play that drunk. Although toward the end of the clip I push the speed of my wrist, I think @Ramo would have been proud.
Also, it seems I was posting here last night too ... maybe alcohol bottles should include a warning label that says "DO NOT DRINK PAST THIS POINT" with an arrow pointing to a line.

Good that you got a new job, I've been hired by one company but Im tiring to get hired by one I want. this is only tem thing at the moment plan is to do it next 4 years or so till I get my badge back.

Congrats on the new job. I’m starting a part ime job tomorrow. The combination of my pension and some IT consulting is starting to fall short. I haven’t had a nine to five job since the pandemic hit. It will be a big change.
