Love that sound!!!
Something I've been working on for nearly 30 years. Still not sure what to do with it.
Both riffs sounds like a Metallica Load era. I see What you done with your profile pic....Here is a riff that I actually did come up with on Friday night while the site was down.
I actually came up with two really cool riffs and a whole album concept behind it. I'll upload the other one in a moment.

I actually listened to it a few time already. You need a bandana, big spiff and Woodstock festival to go with that riff.
Damn. Hadn't thought of that. I'll try it out.I actually listened to it a few time already.
I can’t help but think a good heavy dose of a cry baby in there somewhere would make it over the top.
I believe that would make it into a new vibe with the same classic punchDamn. Hadn't thought of that. I'll try it out.
I did not catch a Metallica vibe but I did hear a Hendrix type of playing.
good stuff.:dood:If people are missing live music well we have been a bit luckier here in Adelaide than in most parts of Australia and we have been able to have shows, although most of them seated with reduced capacity. You can check out the local metal and alternative scenes on my youtube channel, including recent videos of my own band Sloven.
Mitch do you have my video file of that riff?
I should but it is in one of the Emails you sent and difficult to find but I know I didn’t erase it, because that was how I had to play along with it.Mitch do you have my video file of that riff?
Mitch, this is the 4th time I’m listening to this (I’m really enjoying it)). I wonder what it would sound like if you sprinkle in some natural harmonics around the 5th or 7th fret maybe right before the first pause.I have heard that it was Friday ??
But I didn’t want to forget the first thing I played tonight.
Thanks for listening
Mitch
By all means give it a whackMitch, this is the 4th time I’m listening to this (I’m really enjoying it)). I wonder what it would sound like if you sprinkle in some natural harmonics around the 5th or 7th fret maybe right before the first pause.
when I unpack my gear again, if you don’t mind, I want to fiddle around with your riff a little. Hopefully that won’t be too far in the near future.
Nice SG by the way!
For you newbies here. As a PSA…. When ever Mitch breaks out the SG, be prepared for some mind numbing riffage. Some of my favorite riffs from Mitch are done on his SG.Mitch, this is the 4th time I’m listening to this (I’m really enjoying it)). Very different form you, still good tho.Something I did 10 years ago while messing around with software I dont remember. I wish I could remember what program I used to do the drum tracks.
The bass line was simple, I just followed what I did on rhythm. This was my first attempt at doing a lead solo.
Enjoy
good tone as always :eddie:I have heard that it was Friday ??
