you see, no vertical video is much better and you look fabulous as ever!
Today I stepped back from the overdrive and played a previous piece through my 1987 Marshall clone into an Avatar 212 with Vintage 30s. I'm running both channels on the amp jumpered and pretty balanced. I have a RAT in front set at 9 o'clock and volume balanced. I'm playing my 2018 SG Standard with an A2 magnet bridge pickup wound to 9k ohms and an A3 magnet neck pickup wound to 7.5k ohms. I'm running both pickups with bridge volume on 9 and neck volume on 7.5. There you go Mitch!
Might be a clone, but sounds pretty damn Marshally- Mids to me! Cant be that setup for a pure rock tone. Very cool

To me, its reminiscent of early days Pentagram, which is a cool thing by the way lolOK Mitch, Here ya go, I may not be a shred master like our Buddy Ramo, or a Beast like Mcblink or Dave Sloven or Bastarddon, but I went and pulled out my Jackson V, and my Washburn HB 30 I got from Smitty the other night. Plugged into my Princeton Chorus amp and since the V was so out of tune and with the Floyd and all, I swapped to the HB30.
I haven't played much lately due to caring for my family, trying to squeeze in side jobs, and other burdens on my motivation.
Now I fiddled with my amp setting some, and strummed a few things and got a cool sounding chord to go with the warbly chorus on the amp.
Having never had much luck making videos on my Cell, I simply put it in video cam mode and sat it in my drawer to capture some sounds.
Here is what my messing around produced. My first ever recording. Forgive me for some flubb spots, but I think there is something I can build off in the mess I started with. So hear goes, my first youtube video that is not even a video, LOL
SGs rock!!

Yeah, it's a 50 watt 4 hole non-master (1987 model) I built a while back. I love this thing, but you have to get the volume up to 5-6 for it to go all Angus on you. That's why I use the RAT at lower volume. Hell, I had it on 3 there and I couldn't here myself yell. I've only got a couple of hours on that cab, so the speakers aren't broken in. Still sounds good though. I went a little nuts on the amp build with aerospace grade wire and Dale resistors. It is very quiet though.See, I somehow missed the clone part of that sentence and just assumed you were playing another Marshall. It sounds good. I love the clarity of the chime
Great work on the clip Chris, on your YouTube channel I asked what amp, I was curious because I love the tone. It’s theYeah, it's a 50 watt 4 hole non-master (1987 model) I built a while back. Nice tone and tension in the playing ! Just pulling your chain on the underwearDonO, That was actually some paper in the night stand drawer of the doiley on the top of that chest.
I think the tone and tension is 100% SMitty's old guitar. IT really is a Gem.
. Nice work though for a first post. Keep it up. We seem to inspire each other around here.

Does sound good though doesn’t itSounds great - I have a feeling it's more you dialing in a great sound than the amp. Just a hunch.
That is a heavy, raunchy bass line and it sounds appropriate for the song ..Here's me trying to dial in a nice, heavy bass tone with my new TRBX174. I swapped the stock pickups for Neodymium Entwistle pups and wow they make ceramic magnets look weak.
Trying to land somewhere between John Paul Jones, Cliff Burton and Doom'ey-with-way-too-much-dirt... track goes back and forth between full band and solo'ed bass to hear the difference.
Using a Soldano SLO100 amp sim into a 410 cab for the dirty side and a MesaUSA100 into the same 410 cab for the clean side.
Chili, download the Dolby On app. It’s simple to use and can directly upload the clip to SoundCloud. Can edit and add flavor to the recording to.Dono, I know about the Underwear leg pullin.
Heck I am still figuring out the phone cam. I justwanted to capture sounds more than capture my mug.
That's a cool effect, the warbly chorus. Haunting is a good word to describe. This reminds me of one Mastodon song in particular that I can't seem to recall the name of at the moment.
