Very right! He namely used a Supro 1690T Coronado that was modified from 2x10 to a single 1x12. Thats the amp he recorded most of the first 5 albums with along with a Vox AC30 occasionally and even a Rickenbacker Transonic ( used on Heartbreaker). There's rumors of lots of others but those are the ones that are noted and confirmed.
The Marshall 100w Plexis( modded to Kt-88 and 200w) were normally a live setting use and was often too overpowering in the studio. But there are claims he was using that amp during Physical Graffiti, so its possible it WAS a Marshall on The Rover but the records at that time are spotty at best and he often contradicted himself ( this was during the bad era of Page's Heroin addiction unfortunately).

I made an Oops, Kerry.
I meant what amps Jimmy used in concerts, not in the studios. I was never old enough to go see them, until finally the ALMOST concert was to happen.
Then of course Bonzo had to die and there went my chance.
