FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

We need riff jump start!

When I get stuck in a rut, I find that swapping amps, or really changing amp settings, or a new pedal really helps. Or even changing guitar tunings.

Also if I need an instant fix I search out really different drum beats, I find that'll kickstart a riff easier than most things.

Just my little tricks.

good treaks, I have no other amp other than what i play with. I spend way too long looking for drum loops that are messy random poop. lol

I don’t even play with a drum track and it shows, I need another device to do that..
it helps a lot with timings.

@Headache I use them too, the first link guy, I find his drums all over the place, I like straight beat like song structure type.

other guys link some beats are good but the sound is very computer-like.

you almost do same thing i do, I convert them and load it in my daw. by the way do you record anything in daw?

Yes I use reaper. It's great!
I record everything but the drums in the garage on a laptop, stick the files on USB then mix and edit everything in the house on the PC. It's getting a lot smoother and easier as I do it more and more.

As i mentioned on the YT video itself, this was just damn awesome Mitch! I absolutely loved this: the ringing notes, the harmonics and the forward charging pace. Probably one of my most favorite ones youve done and i love all of your stuff.
Thanks buddy I appreciate the compliment and kind words of support..
I turned it up loud enough to play with a hard hitting drummer, and kicked in the 3210 lead 100 mosfet and it pair of cabs, moved the phone to a new location, and my wife had run some errands, so her vehicle was not bouncing the sound waves.
I thought it came out pretty decent..
Thanks again brother

Mitch
