Still not disappointed in your contribution..Seems like I forgot how to play.... Rust setting in over here.
Here's tonight's idea, sloppy as it is, it gets smoother ha ha.
Nice work Steve

Even if you think it's sloppy, it's still killer.Seems like I forgot how to play.... Rust setting in over here.

Thanks Mitch!Sounds really good Mike
What a great way to start the new year
Great piece of music broTonight I had issues with my TSL.... Was popping and jumping volumes.... I punched on it a bit... Sprayed deoxit into every little hole...
Ended up swapping the power tubes out...
Fixed it I think!
Anyhow here's tonights dishonorable discharge.

Funny to me how the only amps I routinely read about folks having issues with are the Marshall D/TSLs and Blackstars. Since Blackstar is essentially Marshall Jr., it makes me wonder what shared technology and/or suppliers they both use that can't compete with the Mesas, Fenders and Peavey's of the world...
All that to say, my old JCM900 was the amp I used the most/pushed the hardest and after about 3 years of daily use (3-4 hours at 8+ volume), it never once failed to roar. But, it was built in 1990/91 I think, not 20xx.
Good analogy. My view of the MoshAll problem is also skewed thanks to @Ramo , @LiveeviL2000 and you all having D/TSLs and all have had issues in the last 6 months.Probably how there are seemingly lots of Ford f150 problems.... Maybe not because they inherently have problems, but it's because there are millions and millions of them working hard every day.
This thing has seen a few hours of hard use as well ha ha. I really love it too! My first real tube Marshall, and the one I had always wanted.

For me it was just a bad preamp tube. I wouldn't say it was the amp's fault. Tubes go bad unfortunately. Other than that, my DSL works just fine.Good analogy. True. And Ramo's was likely the loose nut behind the wheel. For me it was just a bad preamp tube. I wouldn't say it was the amp's fault. Tubes go bad unfortunately. Other than that, my DSL works just fine.
he also has power issues.True. And Ramo's was likely the loose nut behind the wheel.
I miss that anti-Tele speedster.Literally and socially. @Ramo LOL
I leave comments on his riff of the week, YouTube channel all the time.I summoned him - he'll probably say no and mumble something about Grandpa Guitars and lack of speeeeeeddddddddd... but then he'll show up anyway. Just watch.
