Fret Slotting Jig

I made this many years ago, but the indexing sled didn't make the move from my former shop for some reason. Tje sled has indexing for a 25.5" scale in one side and a Gibson 24.75" (nominal) scale on the other. The indexing slot locator is a .023” feeler gauge embedded in the miter box base. I use a small Japanese-style pull saw with a narrow kerf to do the actual slotting.
