French Toast! Stoner rock madness.

Got a new (used of course) pedal yesterday. The Danelectro French Toast. It's an octave fuzz but let's you turn off the octave part.

I tuned the Junior to drop D, hooked the amp up to the 1x12 and turned the volume to the 25 watt (was home alone) mark. Damn! Without the octave on it was instant stoner rock bliss. I'm going to have some fun with this.

My pedal board is in a sorry state but here's a photo:

Stoner Rock tone is a wonderful thing. Whenever I use fuzz I go chasing Josh Homme's late Kyuss tone. How he managed to spit and splat but still sound smooth at the same time is a mystery for the ages.

the Orange TH30 on greenback 4x12, 78 The Paul, neck pickup tone knob rolled off...organic stoner/fuzz fest. Been meaning to do a stoner song but something melodic pops up every single time.. trying not to but its hard to stay away from it when it moves the song for words
