Freedom

I have the freedom to be the owner of 4 Godin guitars. Well I feel very blessed to have good health. When I can stand on my deck at our trailer waiving goodbye to our friends as they leave the park Sunday evenings. Because they are heading back home to go to work, and I don't have to. I tell them its tough being retired, Its the best job I ever had. But seriously, I have a wonderful Wife who supports me in whatever I do. We live very comfortably, we have no debt, we do what we want when we want. We both have worked hard in our lives, I worked 38yrs at my job and my Wife 36yrs at hers. We have the freedom to travel where we wish and we have out of country insurance through the Union my Wife worked for, but we are not big travellers at this time in our lives now. We keep busy and give back to our Community, share the things we have with others. I feel very blessed to have what we have, I don't take things for granted and thank the good Lord every day. I am a happy person and content . I do my best to think positive even in a tough situation. I believe Happiness comes from within, no person or all the toys in the World will make you happy. Being thankful is the key for me, I am very fortunate to live in a Country with Universal health care, I have freedom of speech freedom of travel, freedom of religion, the freedom to vote. I have clean water to drink and now that I'm retired no body to tell me what to do. And my wish for all is to have the Freedom I enjoy.
 
This has been a great read; I had some catching up to do.
The peace of mind some of you have is certainly intertwined with that sense of freedom.
