Frame sliders

I could have used a set 3 years ago. I was trying to push-start my bike. Failed to mount my bike cleanly > lost my balance > I fell > bike fell... on top of me > cracked 3 ribs! Frame sliders would have prevented this:

Yup...
That day I was on a leisurely ride into the countryside. I stopped for a little break at a spot next to some ranchland that had 3 horses that were hanging out at the fence about 15 feet from the road. I spent about 5 minutes talking and petting them. I went to start the bike, and the battery was dead. After I got myself off the ground, I looked back at the horses, and all 3 of them were absolutely still and staring at me. First thing out of my mouth was: "What are you all looking at?". No response from the horses. I bet after I finally left, they all had a great chuckle...

Maybe u needed a horse ride instead of a bike ride.
