Spot on, but some may not realise it's ALL IN THE TONE used when calling somebody a wanker. It can be a term of friendly endearment or a real insult.
Many years back Adrian and I were exchanging audio files and during some forgotten silliness my wife called me a wanker, Adrian seized onto it and continues to uses it on me at every opportunity. All good fun!

I used to belong to almost 20 music related forums including MLP, The Gear Page, ETSG, Marshall Forum, Strat-Talk, TDPRI, etc. I requested to be banned from the Marshall Forum sometime back because I didn't like some of the dicks on there...then at the same day I got banned from ETSG for NO reason! WTF??? The moderators over at MLP at the time were a bunch of drunkards that banned me just for the hell of it. I got banned from TGP for posting a picture of a stork spreading chem-trails...another WTF? I got annihilated on the Gibson forum because they thought I had 2 accounts...bullshit!!!

I'm down to 3 forums that I frequent a lot including this one. I'm also on Epiphone-Talk where that Raiyn guy who used to be on here but got the boot is on that forum. He acts like he's running the show...can't stand him. He's a complete A-hole. I'm also on SDUG (Seymour Duncan User Group) forum which is actually pretty good...been on there for over 5 years now. I'm under a different user name on Seymour's forum. I can't remember my password for some of the other forums that I forgot about.

Actually if you had a wanker and a wankee then the first would be the person giving the handjob and the second would be the person receiving it.

I used to teach English to kids 12-16 years of age. For some reason that was not the example I used when explaining the difference between the -er/-ee endings on nouns.:D
 
I thought the term "wanker" only applied when the giver and receiver of said hypothetical handjob are one and the same?

When we first opened the (digital) doors to this place, raiyn was telling me that I needed to ban someone for exorcising his right to freedom of speech because what he was saying did not jive with what raiyn believed. So I put a damper on raiyn's free speech and he went ballistic. I guess he thought that he was the one making the rules here, rules that he was not subject to.
