forum fatigue

I too have found myself losing interest in forums that I used to frequent. I have recently gone back to check a couple of them out just to find a ghost town of what used to be a very active forum. When I stopped going there I did not post a reason as to why, I just faded out and stopped posting there. I did receive a warm welcome back by the very few that remembered me and I left a link to my new online home here at TTR.

Dave, I will say that I enjoy reading your posts and hope that you do not get bored and fatigued with us here, but if you do, thank you for the contributions that you have made here.

I don't post that much. I generally come up a couple times and read thru some of the threads, etc. If see something, like this thread, where I feel like I actually have something to say I will. I don't care for face book much at all. I guess I'm just not really into online social networking stuff.

tosser=wanker

literally: masturbator

We called them a "Clown Puncher" back in the day (1980's near Fresno). Recall if you can, the inflatable clown with sand in the bottom??? You could punch it and it would pop right back up. Hence, in similar fashion, one's wee willy pops back up when stiffened, so "Punching One's Clown" was akin to engaging in the art of "The Stroke."
