To those brothers out there, that might be in a bit of a lull right no w in their playing, Watch this inspiring video of Rick the Derringer. Especially at the 4:05 mark and beyond. Keep playing and practicing my brothers, never give up.
 
I will digress a tad, but I was hunting good examples of various sweet sounding pickups to advise someone asking about a certain sound he is after in pups he wants to put in an SG Faded.

Here is a clip that not only sounds so good but makes never giving up and playing guitar my whole life, what it is all about.

 
Gball, while Jimmy's main LP and Double neck may or may not have had T Tops in them, I still hear Jimmy's sound in songs like this, and along with Alex Lifeson, it is why I play today.

I flat out love so much about this Movie.

One of my favorite parts ever is Robert PLant speaking of Since I been Loving you, at 20:33+ then YEAH BASHHHHH, and Do not miss my next favorite, No Quarter is a masterpiece that follows it. So powerful.

If the lore is to be believed (and I do think Page has confirmed this himself) the bridge pickup in Number 1 failed in 1972 and was replaced with a T-Top which remained there until sometime in the '90's. The EDS-1275 was bought new in the early '70's for him to replicate the recordings, so it would have come stock with T-Tops. Sooo...a big part of Zeppelin's sound in their glory days was that of a T-Top.

I have to watch it once a year or so. I do that now with the O2 Arena show also.

I pretty much suspected it was very possible.
Gball, How much do you know about Tarbacks as compared to T Tops. Since my '76 SG has the Tarbacks, which to me sound sweet too, I have no compunction to swap in T Tops. BUT< I definitely would put T's in any other LP I build or buy in the future.
