DC-5 is a sweet amp.
1990's I presume???
Yup. Great-sounding, versatile, built like ahouse. Lots to love with the Caliber series. I had a .22 Caliber for a while and that thing was as loud as any 40/50 watt amp out there.
It was the best sounding of all the Dual/Triple/Marks/Lonestars/5:25's that I have played, hands down, IMHO of course,
Yeah... I was wondering what your final settings was to get you a satisfying tone and at what volume levels. No personal experience with this or any Mesa, but I'm regarding the amps "Output Level" as a global master volume.I made no adjustments. The engineer dialed it in. The photo was taken before the amp was touched....

MKIII simiclass w/ 3-12" cabs, a 1 thiel and 2 openbacks, and a MKIV w/ 4x 12". That's more than enough Boogies for me. The small chassis heads and 1-12" cabs are manageable to carry while the 4x12 is definitely not even though I have the option of a full closed back or just removing the back panel of the top speakers giving me the most of those 2 worlds. For some reason they stopped making them like that lest it's a special order. Mine just came like that and I didn't even know it till a year after I got it. After that I really liked the 1/2 & 1/2 idea
When you have a Boogie that movement of the master volume off and up from 1 immediately get way too loud! IT's very sensitive, well mine are …. I do too, can't understand why it isn't done …. In my early years ago I always thought a BF Twin on top of a BF bassman or showman cabinet was a killer rig for the days way back.
