Yeah they are funny about “ their” yard. Our girl protects her yard with a tenacity that all kinds of focused. She has to get up at least once in the night to patrol the fence line. And if a bird has the audacity to land in her yard she goes ballistic. One night she woke me up at 1:00 AM or so and I let her out, she came back in a couple minutes and I didn’t realize she had a shrew in her mouth and she dropped it on the bedroom floor. Well the dang thing took off and she tore after it and made a hell of a ruckus, waking up the wife and now I got her Freeking out the dog Freeking out and a shrew running around in the bedroom.Our fur babies can get focused for sure. Our pooch hates chipmunks. She will stand over a chipmunk hole with her nose in said hole for hours. Timed her. One day it was nearly 4 hours. When she went out the next day it was another couple hours.... same hole,
