For all you cat lovers out there..

The week I was preparing for heading to Germany for four weeks of work, Boris's health took a turn for the worse. He was twenty years old, and a former feral dumpster diver before being "rescued" by my wife. The mass on his stomach grew, although his early signs of renal problems were of no change. The day before leaving for Germany, I had to put him down. It was really difficult, but I didn't want my wife to turn him into a science experiment to keep him alive a few more days. I'm glad that I went away for a month and didn't have to deal with going home and having his presence missed. It's no easier now, but I had a bit of time away to sort of separate myself from the house.

So sorry for your loss, John... Boris will be missed by all TTRers, both human and feline.

So sorry, bro. I think I've gone through about 20 losses of beloved cats. It never gets any easier does it. ☹️
