Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 vs PreSonus Studio 24c

Went to GC yesterday to get an interface so I can finally record properly. They didn’t have ANY. Even though on the web site it was listed as available at that store. My local GC is pitiful. So I ordered it online.
It sucks to have to wait for something when in your mind you thought to have it now.
I know that sounds juvenile, but it’s a disappointment to drive there and find nothing.
 
It’s really every industry.
I work in an industry that uses chemicals heavily and there is a shortage of everything.
we are actually bidding on the open market for supplies

For a variety of reasons, you may want multiple mics for 1 guitar recording. Is 2 enough? Probably most of the time. However, like with many things, you will quickly discovery new ways of doing things that require more capability. The question then becomes whether you want to buy bigger and grow into it, or smaller and grow out of it.

As of now, my budget allows for the 2i2. I have spent a ton lately.
