Fluff or the right stuff?

I have been both impulsive and prudent in my gear purchases over the years. Some purchases I knew right away should never had been made. Sometimes I learned it shortly after putting it into use. Some will never leave my set-up again.

For me, my noise gate, which has been the G-String Decimator for the last 5 years, is a winner. Also, my Timmy OD is the right dirt for me. On the other hand, I just have not used my Ditto Looper, although I know I should. I just find playing to YouTube more fun.

So what are your personal winners and losers?

I have tested and passed on many many different things ---- I have found that the reality is 90% of my limited playing time is spent
with a selected guitar--- plugged straight into this

And I am happy

Non keeper:
The black Stratocaster.
I had it for a day and a half.

Keeper:
The mid 60's SG custom.
I bought it on Feb. 1, 1969 used.
I still have it and it is still my favorite.
