Hey all you Florida folks, are any of you near Cape Canaveral? I'll be flying there Monday for work. Since I have two machines to put different ball screws and spindles in, I expect to be there a few days if you want to meet up in the evening. Then you can see what kind of tired, ragged, s.o.b. I am in real life.

For me that's a blast from the past.
Back in 1969 I was a second year apprentice, that year I was attached to the company tool room. One of the first jobs I assisted in was building a ball nut from scratch. Recall the tricky bit that took a long time was making the return tubes for the balls.
