My first guitar amp was a 1948 Magna single 12" speaker it burned up fire
I worked all summer and got a new 1973 Ampeg VT-22 100 watt combo 2 x 12"
My second electric guitar was a 1961 Les Paul SG I played that LP SG to death frets gone fingerboard
gone I did keep the wiring harness pickups and tuners.
At practice our bass player at first brake played a Wishbone Ash song
pulled up the video then we played it first time playing it we got it fun to play


What a killer 1967 Gibson Vee in the video the Ampeg amps is what caused the flash back

That is one blistering loud and extremely heavy amp. I had one for a very few years, and sold it last year. Craziest built-in reverb I ever heard.
 
Love Wishbone Ash, been a fan since the Argus album.
Then Live Dates, I was hooked.

from David Grissom formerly owned by Eric Johnson $6800.00 plus $250.00 shipping 20 years ago what is that amp worth now Eric still has the full stack cabinets
for it Eric want's the amp I want the speaker cabinets that's where it stands. The anvil flight case on the red Marshall has Eric Johnson stenciled all over it.
The worst part is that red Marshall is hands down the best sounding Marshall I have ever played and I have owned many Marshall's.
Time will tell.
